Oppo’s latest flagship series has arrived, with the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro set to launch globally later this month. Here’s what they bring to the table.
The Oppo Find X9 series consists of a standard base model as well as a larger “Pro” device. Both devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and feature big battery upgrades over the prior models. The 6.59-inch Oppo Find X9 has a 7,025 mAh battery inside, while the 6.78-inch Oppo Find X9 Pro has a 7,500 mAh battery. Oppo touts fully symmetrical 1.15mm bezels around both displays.
The Find X9 Pro is undoubtedly the more impressive of the two, with the camera especially being a standout. The rear triple camera array includes a 50MP main sensor paired with a 50MP ultrawide and, in an interesting choice, a 200MP 3x telephoto lens. Oppo says this delivers “unparalleled detail and clarity in zoom shots.” Oppo previously teased this as a “next-gen” camera system. Meanwhile, the Oppo Find X9 has a trio of 50MP rear cameras.
Aside from that, the spec sheets are pretty similar. Both ship with Android 16 and Oppo’s ColorOS 16 skin, offer 12GB or 16GB of RAM based on the model you pick, and support up to 80W wired charging or up to 50W wireless – there are no Qi2 magnets here, notably.
The Oppo Find X9 series is launching first in China, but will debut on the global scene very soon.
Oppo will host a launch event in Barcelona, Spain on October 28 to launch both devices on the global market. Of course, this won’t include the US, but the OnePlus 15 is expected to reach the States sometime later this year.
Update 10/29: Oppo has held its launch event and revealed that, starting in Spain, the Oppo Find X9 will be available in November from €999 while the Oppo Find X9 Pro will start at €1,299.
