Black Friday 2025 is in full swing, with many discounts opening up this week. It’s also the best time of the year to get on a streaming service, as major streamers such as Disney+, HBO Max, and Apple TV are all heavily discounted for Black Friday.

Streaming has gotten wildly expensive, with many services costing upwards of $10 just for an ad-supported plan nowadays. But, on Black Friday, it’s usually easy to score a deal.

We’ll continue to update this post through the week, but here are some of the best Black Friday deals on streaming services that you can use on Google TV, or wherever else you’d like.

HBO Max: $2.99/month for 12 months

Leading things off we’ve got a deal on HBO Max, where if you sign up in the week around Black Friday you’ll score a 12-month lock for your plan that brings the price down to $2.99/month. That’s down from $10.99/month for the ad-supported plan, a discount of over 70%!

You can sign up for this plan through the HBO Max website or through your TV app (including Google Play, Roku, and other billing systems), but it applies only to the “Basic with Ads” plan. If you switch plans, the discount also goes away entirely per the terms and conditions.

Disney+/Hulu: $4.99/month for 12 months

Disney’s Black Friday offer is two streaming services for half the price of one – a great deal no matter how you look at it.

Disney+ and Hulu as a bundle are available for $4.99/month for 12 months through Disney’s Black Friday deal. Like the HBO deal, this is only for the ad-supported plan, and if you change plans at any point the discount goes away. Still, it’s a discount of over 60%.

Right now, this offer is only available through an “Early Access Deal” that was shared by Good Morning America (a show on ABC, a network owned by Disney). Presumably, it’ll show up in the app for new subscribers later on this week too.

Amazon Prime Video: Subscription adds-ons on sale

Amazon Prime Video itself doesn’t have a deal for Black Friday, but Amazon is offering discounts on subscription add-ons. These include:

  • HBO Max: $2.99/month for 12 months
  • Apple TV: $5.99/month for 12 months
  • Starz: $2.75/month for 2 months OR bundle with BET+ for $3.99/month
  • MGM+: $1.99/month for 2 months
  • Wonder Project: $2.25/month for 2 months
  • AMC+: $1.75/month for 2 months OR bundle with Starz for $3.50/month
  • Britbox: $2.75/month for 2 months
  • Hallmark+: $2/month for 2 months
  • PBS Kids: $1.25/month for 2 months
  • CuriousityStream: $1.25/month for 2 months

Amazon also has lots of digital movies and TV shows at a discount. You can see all of these deals on Amazon Prime Video.

Apple TV: 50% off for 6 months

Apple is offering its Apple TV subscription – formerly called Apple TV+ – for $5.99/month for 6 months, a 50% discount off of the typical $12.99/month pricing. This isn’t anything…
