Following the last round of negotiations, Google announced today that its cord-cutting service is getting a big update in 2026 with “YouTube TV Plans” that will offer “over 10 genre-specific packages.”

Aimed at “bringing more choice and flexibility” to subscribers, the first and only thing Google detailed today is a “YouTube TV Sports Plan.” This provides access to “all the major broadcasters” along with FS1, NBC Sports Network, all of the ESPN networks, ESPN Unlimited, and other sports networks.

NFL Sunday Ticket and RedZone will be available as add-ons. The Sports Plan will continue to include unlimited DVR, multiview, key plays, and fantasy view.

Google also mentioned packages that “combine sports and news” and a plan “centered on family and entertainment content.” The “main YouTube TV plan with 100+ channels” will remain available.

Google ends with a tease about how it has “a lot in store for YouTube TV members next year and can’t wait to share more soon.” YouTube TV Plans will launch “early next year.”
