Some Pixel owners today are getting a new December 2025 update today after installing the initial release (Android 16 QPR2) at the start of this month.

This OTA comes in at around 25 MB, with reports from owners of the Pixel 8, 9, and 10 series. Verizon appears to be a commonality, though there are reports from the UK.

However, this is not widely available as of Wednesday afternoon (PT), and it’s unclear if all users/carriers will receive this update.

Compared to the last out-of-cycle update in October, this might be a more limited patch. Google has not posted any factory or OTA images yet, while Verizon doesn’t have new release notes.
