Info Edge-owned Jeevansathi has approved an investment of approximately Rs. 10 crore in the dating apps network, Aisle Network. The disclosure was made through filings with the National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
For context, Aisle Network operates multiple regional dating platforms through its apps Aisle, Anbe, Arike, Neetho, and Jalebi. Meanwhile, Info Edge’s portfolio includes Naukri, Jeevansathi, 99acres, Shiksha, etc.
Details of Jeevansathi’s Investment in the Dating Apps Network:
The funding will be provided in the form of 10 lakh compulsorily convertible debentures, each with a face value of Rs. 100, for a total consideration of approximately Rs. 10 crore. Following the investment, Aisle will remain a step-down wholly owned subsidiary of Info Edge. The submission specifically mentioned that Info Edge’s Promoters have no interest in this investment.
As of March 31, 2025, the company reported a turnover of Rs. 39.62 crore, a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs. 17.80 crore, and a net worth of Rs. 20.86 crore. The company’s revenue has grown steadily over the past three financial years, rising from Rs. 31.46 crore in FY 2022-23 to Rs. 39.62 crore in FY 2024-25.
In March 2025, Jeevansathi, a subsidiary of Info Edge, held an 89.17% stake in Aisle Network on a fully diluted basis. With the latest investment of Rs. 30 crores in March, its stake increased to 92.83%. Now, with this additional investment of Rs. 10 crore, it has acquired the remaining 3.65% stake in the dating apps network Aisle.
Financial Performance of Jeevansathi:
Based on Info Edge’s earnings presentation for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, Jeevansathi’s business continued to achieve operating break-even and generate cash from operations. It reported an increase of 29.4% year-on-year (YoY) operational revenue to Rs. 34 crore in Q2 FY26, from Rs. 26 crore a year earlier.
However, Jeevansathi reported an operating profit of Rs. 1 crore in Q2 FY26, after an operating loss of Rs 1 crore in the previous financial year. Similarly, for the first half of FY26, the operating profit stood at Rs. 1 crore, versus an operating loss of Rs. 3 crore in the first half of the previous year.
The presentation noted that the matchmaking industry remains competitive, with leading players seeking to expand market share, while key engagement metrics such as acceptances and two-way chats remained healthy during the quarter.
Info Edge explained its business model by saying, “In Jeevansathi, top-line growth was supported by the continued success of the freemium model, enhancements to our matching algorithms, and ongoing efforts to drive monetisation.”
