Tea Dating Advice, an app that allows women to perform background checks on men and share their dating experiences, suffered a data breach on July 25 which exposed around 72,000 user images to hackers, according to a Reuters report.Â
The 72,000 images leaked in the data breach include 13,000 selfies or pictures featuring photo identification that users submitted during account verification. Meanwhile, another 59,000 images publicly viewable in the app from posts, comments, and direct messages also faced a security breach.
