Google today announced “Google AI Plus” as a new subscription tier “designed to empower people in emerging markets to do more with Google AI, for less.”
This new plan comes in between the free tier and Google AI Pro, which is $19.99 per month in the US.
You get “more access to Gemini 2.5 Pro,” with free users today only getting five prompts per day. For reference, Google AI Pro comes with 100 prompts/day.
There’s also Veo 3 Fast (presumably in the Gemini app), with additional access to Google Flow (video creation tool) and Whisk (standalone image-to-video tool).
Then there’s access to the Gemini side panel in Gmail, Google Docs, and Sheets.
The final named perk today is 200 GB of Google One storage, which is $2.99 per month by itself.
Right now, Google AI Plus is just for emerging markets, starting in Indonesia “with more countries to follow.”
