The Department of Consumer Affairs’ National Consumer Helpline (NCH) received 8,919 grievances against the e-commerce sector in the last two months, accounting for 86% of the total complaints registered. This sector also saw a refund initiation of Rs 3.69 crore, followed by refunds worth Rs 81.4 lakh in the travel & tourism sector, Rs 41.4 lakh in the general insurance space, and Rs 38.4 lakh in the agency services domain.
