Samsung’s new mid-range unlocked Galaxy A56 smartphone returns to Amazon lows from $450 today
Samsung brought its mid-range Galaxy A56 smartphone stateside back in July and we are once again seeing both storage options down at Amazon all-time lows. It’s certainly not Galaxy Z Fold 7 (currently $300 off) or Galaxy S25 Ultra, but it’s also a whole lot less cash now that it’s starting at $449.99 shipped on Amazon. Details below.
Regularly $500 and $550, respectively, you’re looking at straight up $50 price drops here for the lowest price we can find. We did see Amazon throwing around $100 gift cards during the U.S. launch on the Olive colorway, but today’s deals are otherwise on par with the best cash discounts we have tracked to date. Both storage tiers are still up at full price directly from Samsung.
Any Android user who is used to the more flagship S series devices or any of Samsung’s prime time foldables aren’t going to be intersted here clearly. But for those who just don’t need or even care about all the bells and whistles, the A56 delivers a solid mid-range device with all of the most important features you’ll really need at a fraction of the price.
The A56 is the top-end of Samsung’s more affordable A series phones, it delivers some notable specs for the price too – 50MP rear camera, a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, and six years of Android OS and security updates. The IP67 dust/water resistance, as well as the 45W charging aren’t bad either.
